Château de Blois
The four wings of the castle are all from another epoch and in a different architectural style. This can be discovered especially from the farm.
A real royal palace on the Loire stands in Blois.
It was originally built by Duke Ludwig of Orléans, brother of Charles VI,
in the XIV century.
Louis the XII added the wing
, built with red and wise stones, between 1498 and 1503 (Gothic).
Franz the I. lies between 1515 and 1524 add the wing with the famous
Stair Tower (Renaissance).
The last paste is Gaston d'orléans, the brother of Louis XIII,
between 1635 and 1638 (Classicism).
With the help of the Spanish King Henry of Guise wanted to reach the discontinuation of Henry III. When he heard of it, he read his adversary. This happened on the morning of the 23rd of December 1588 in the royal bedroom.
